The UTM Tracking page
The in-app page that checks every ad for correct tracking and tells you exactly which ones to fix.
Setting up UTM templates once is not enough. Every new campaign, and every ad someone duplicates in a hurry, is a chance for tracking to go missing. The UTM Tracking page in the app checks all of your ads continuously, so you find out from Molecule and not from a hole in your reports.
What a missing UTM costs you. An ad without valid tracking still spends money, but the orders it produces cannot be matched back to it. They show up as direct or unknown traffic instead. The ad looks like it sold nothing, and you may switch off something that was working.
What is on the page
UTM parameters status — for each connected platform, how many ads were checked and how many are valid.
UTM Templates by Platform — the exact template for each channel, with a copy button, so you never have to look it up.
The ads table — every ad with its ad account, campaign, ad set, the UTM parameters currently on it, and a Valid or Invalid status. You can filter by ad account and search by campaign or ad name.
Sync Now — re-checks your accounts on demand, without waiting for the next scheduled check.
The Inherit From column shows where an ad's tracking comes from when it is not set on the ad itself — for example, from its campaign or account level.
Fixing an invalid ad
Google Ads — click Add UTM and Molecule applies the tracking template for you.
Meta, TikTok and Snapchat — paste the template into the ad in the platform, following the guide for that channel, then click Recheck. Molecule confirms straight away whether the ad is now valid.
Make it a habit
Check this page after every launch, and whenever a channel's numbers look suspiciously low. If a platform's own ROAS is healthy while Molecule shows almost nothing for it, broken tracking is the first thing to rule out — see Why your numbers don't match.
